Registration packages can be picked up at the location and time specified upon registration as follows:

Deadline:The declaration must be submitted upon receipt of the starting package.
Attention!Without submitting the documentwe cannot issue the starting package, so participation in the competition is not possible.

 

The start of the race

Arrival time:All competitors are required toat least 10 minutes before the startappear at the start area and participate in the check-in procedure. Please pay attention to the announcer’s instructions, as you may receive different instructions.

Starting signal:The official start signal for the race:horn sound.

Escort:The fieldmotorcyclists, police officers and bicycle escortswill be installed and maintained throughout the competition.

The competition is mainlyon bike paths and low-traffic roadsprogresses, and at some pointsalso affects dirt roadsboth on the Hungarian and Slovak sides.

Packages to be sent to the destination can be dropped off at the check-in area.with starting number. At the Miskolc finish line,“parcel delivery”You can pick up your packages at the minibus marked.

 

Health and safety rules

Health care
A medical service will be available throughout the race to ensure the safety of participants. If any member of the medical staff deems a competitor unfit to continue running, they may disqualify them from the race.

Traffic rules
At railway crossingsonly following the instructions of the traffic control personnelcan be passed through.Crossing the road when the signal is red is FORBIDDEN and life-threatening! Violation of this rule will result in immediate disqualification.

Recommended attire
We recommend that you participate in the competition in clothing appropriate for the weather conditions.It is recommended to wear a raincoat in case of rain, a hat in cold weather, and sunglasses and sunscreen in sunny weather.

 

Traffic rules

Road conditions and direction of travel
On public road sections, running takes place on the LEFT side of the road, if possible, in compliance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Act.

Cycling companions
Cyclist chaperones participating in the competition may only ride on the RIGHT side of the road in the direction of travel.

Route marking
The race route will be marked with the following signs:
Black arrows on a yellow background
Red text on a white background
Neon red signs painted on asphalt

Responsibility and compliance
Competitors must follow the route at their own risk. All participants must follow the instructions of the police, civil guards and organizers.

Closing bus
The race is accompanied by a closing bus that travels at the end of the field.

 

Update and waste management

Refresh points
The organizersat every switching pointprovide updates for competitors.

Waste management rules
Garbage generated during the competitionexclusively at refreshment and change pointscan be placed.
FORBIDDENthrowing trash anywhere else on the route!
Violation of the ruleimmediate exclusionit brings with it.

Switching rules

Official exchange points
Switchonly at designated interchange pointspossible.

Handing over a team marker (chip)
For the substitution to be valid, the next runner on the team mustmust receive the official team marker (chip).

Please follow the rules to ensure a smooth transition!

 

Timing and finishing

Official timekeeping
In the competitionofficial timing chipits use is mandatory.
Replacement of lost or damaged chips is the competitor’s responsibility. Without a chip, the resultcannot be recorded.

Arrival
When crossing the finish line, the competitorany part of the trunk– except for the shoulder and hip – must pass through the affected vertical plane.
Timekeepingelectronic systemrecords, but in case of failurewe also provide manual timekeeping.

Toilets are provided at the start.

 

Target area
At the finish line at Szent István Squaremobil WC-k will be posted.

Switching points
At every switching pointbathroom facilities available.

 

Parking options

Start – Košice

Parking is possible in the zones marked in green, the so-called BN zones.

Parking in the BN zone is paid from Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. On Saturday and Sunday, parking in the BN zones is free.

On other days between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM – €0.50/30 minutes.
